Humanitarian Aid

Since 2015, Utah Ukrainian Association has provided humanitarian aid to displaced families and vulnerable communities in Ukraine. Following the full-scale invasion in 2022, the outpouring of support from the Utah community enabled us to significantly expand our efforts, increasing both the scale and impact of our humanitarian work.

Through the generosity of donors, volunteers, and community partners, UUA has delivered more than $250,000 worth of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Working with trusted partners on the ground, we have helped provide critical supplies including tactical gear, medical supplies, baby essentials such as formula, diapers, and bottles, non-perishable food and snacks, bedding, sleeping bags, blankets, and other urgently needed items for individuals and families affected by the war.

Our humanitarian initiatives are made possible through a wide range of community-driven fundraising efforts. Over the years, UUA has organized and supported events such as the Voices for Ukraine Concert and Art for Peace fundraiser at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, charity garage sales, film screenings and community discussions, 5K fundraising runs, silent auctions, and other benefit events that bring people together in support of Ukraine.

By connecting the compassion of the Utah community with the needs of those affected by war, UUA continues to provide meaningful assistance, deliver hope, and stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine during their time of greatest need.
